What do you get when you cross a personal trainer, a saleswoman, an event coordinator, a dolphin trainer, a cocktail waitress, a left-handed creative, a Scorpio, an Enneagram 8, an empathic intuitive, and a photographer?

You get me...Jen Bauer.

How I Got Here

I started with landscape photography, traveling from National Park to National Park. But here’s the thing—coaching and training? Useless on giant sequoia trees.

So, I pivoted. Now I shoot portraits, weddings, engagements, families, and events. I use my personal training knowledge of angles and muscles to flatter you on camera, and my animal training background to positively reinforce even the tiniest, perfect movements you didn’t realize you were nailing.

Working With Me

The most important part of working with me? Being unapologetically yourself. I spent a lot of time trying to meet expectations that weren’t mine, and I still catch myself trying to be “perfect”...maybe you do too. But we all know that just ain't the move these days. So, let’s leave that shh-tuff behind.

Whether it’s an engagement, family session, or headshots, show up as the truest version of yourself. Wear what makes you feel good. Style your hair and makeup for you, not me, not anyone else. You could have the most stunning, high-fashion look, but if you don’t feel like you… the camera will know. Plan accordingly.

My entire business is rooted in nature, inspired by the wild, untamed beauty of the world around us. From the colors and logos I’ve chosen for my branding to the names of my photo packages, every piece of my work reflects the landscapes I love. And that’s exactly how I want my clients to feel...grounded, real, and effortlessly themselves. I don’t want stiff poses or forced smiles; I want to capture you as you are, in your element, whether that’s barefoot in the sand, wrapped up in your partner’s arms, or laughing so hard you forget the camera’s even there.

At the end of the day, that’s what lasts. The raw, unfiltered, beautifully imperfect moments. The ones that feel like you.

More than anything, I love being able to freeze a moment in time, knowing that one day, you’ll look back on it and remember exactly how it felt. The way the light hit just right, the sound of familiar laughter, the feeling of being completely present. Those are the memories that matter most, and I’m here to make sure they last.

I can’t wait to meet you.

The only reason I started hiking was to get to take cool photos. (Still mostly true).

My In-N-Out Burger order: 3x3 with grilled onions, fries, and a Diet Coke.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Zoo and Exotic Animal Care. I have worked with many different species of marine mammals but my heart will always be with dolphins. (That's Tobie you see)

I am a Swiftie and I like Disney. We all know that Swiftie to Disney pipeline is strong.

I am a Master Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and have been training clients and teaching classes for over 8 years.  I love to lift. Deadlifts are my favorite.

I am an extroverted introvert. I derive my energy by taking time to myself.

Braven (Brah-ven) was the name of my German Shepherd. He passed away in March of 2025. He was my first photography client (unwillingly) and the absolute light of my life.

Beyond Weddings & Portraits

Photography isn’t just my job, it’s why I travel, why I chase golden light, and why my camera is always by my side. While my wedding and portrait editing focuses on natural, true-to-life, timeless beauty, my landscape photography is where I let loose and bring the drama. I use bold editing to make the colors, light, and textures come alive.
